Problem:
the home page is not in a frameset, everything else in the site is in a frameset; we have a nav bar on the home page (and one in the frameset, of course); how can we, from the home page, link to the frameset but select a specific content for each frames, rather that to have the default content, for instance passing variables based on the link selected on the home page?
We are facing deadlines, all help will be greatly appreciated.
Chris

Hi Chris!

There are a couple of ways:

1) create frameset page for every page you need (I know it could be stupid but please believe it is the easiest way!). You got only one frameset page, right?, so create as many frameset pages as you need with necessary content.

2) use any server-side scripting engine, such as ASP, and pass variables and process them, depending on a value load necessary page. If you need more help with it - say!

3) use JavaScript instead of server-side scripting, idea is the same. If you prefer this one, say, I'll post you a code.
Good Luck! :)

Hello Eugene,
thank you so much for your responses, and for your help, we are very grateful.
No, we have not solved the problem yet, and we would like to accept your offer about the code, as it is our best hope to solve that problem.
Thank you again
best regards
Chris
