How to search for wirelss networks?

I was wandering if anyone knows the name of any programs that can search for wireless networks in your area. Also, it would help if the program could tell me all the information it could about the wireless network. Thank you for your replys, David

I'm looking to find out where wireless networks are located in my area and find information on the wireless network such as ip address,singal strength,Router model and maker, just normal stuff. Basically I want a program that can find wireless networks and tell me what it can about the wireless network. Thank you for your help Netstumbler, David
