When sending an email in Outlook 2003, I want to be prompted with an option to save the message to any of my email folders. Currently, all sent emails go to my 'sent' box. Periodically, I click/drag sent emails to the desired folders. I'd like to eliminate that latter step.

I know this can be done. I'm just not seeing the answer.

Thanks,

Rich

I don't know how to get OL2K3 to prompt you with an option but before you send the email click on "options" on the email toolbar and select where you want to save your message to.

Cheers.

It would take a while to set up but you could add a series of rules (via the tools menu) which check an email after sending and if it is to a specific person or has certain words in, put a copy in a different folder.

There wouldn't be a prompt though.
