In NY Metro, new area codes being added. COR 1 is FRL 1 (local). Does anyone know how to revise FRL to include new area codes on a Definity GSi.

Help greatly appreciated.

New area codes are added in ARS not in the FRL. I would add new "local" area codes and route them the same way you route the existing "local" area Codes.

Example

Area code 212 is routed via Partition Route Table 1 and uses route patern 1 with an FRL of 1.

New area code for Manhattan of 646 should also be routed via Partition Route Table 1.

Thanks much
Makes sense. Added area code in ARS, set same route pattern as other locals. Checked out the corresponding route pattern showing the FRL used in the COR which restricts the calls for the ext to local.
Take care
