Hi,
Does any one knows, how to load the default configuration in IIS 5, just like when it was first installed?
I have not created a config profile, so, either there's a way to do it, or I have to reinstall IIS..
Regarding the reinstall, do I have to uninstall > reinstall or there's a way to just reinstall, overwriting all current IIS files?

Feedback on this, is most appreciated.

Thank you.

I believe that you have to go into the Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Windows Components and remove the check from IIS click OK and insert the check back into the IIS option. Hope this helps...

Thanks..
That uninstalls and reinstalls IIS again, but failed to solve my problem with certain ASP's not running, specilly those that use objects (Server.CreateObject...).

If anyone knows anything about this phenomenom, that's actually affecting quite a few people, please share it with us.

Thank you.

Custom objects need to be registered on the web server. Did you do that?

The objects I'm experimenting with are:

- Server.CreateObject("CDO.Message")
- Server.CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

Do they need to be registered?
I thought that was done by the IIS installation..
If I have to register them, how do I go about to do that?
Where the files are, and all that.

Thank you.
