I'm working on an application with which standard error handling and debugging techniques do not seem to be effective.

Does anybody know any creative or conventional ways to retrieve the line number where an error occured?

Any help is much appreciated!
Josh

There is an undocumented function erl() that will return the line number IF you use line numbers in your code.
I have found a great freeware addin that will put line numbers in for you called MZTools. It does alot more. It's worth a look at

MZTools is the way to go, it'll add line numbers for you
so you can use erl. It also has a bunch of other very helpful
stuff in it
