how to restrict override option to the stations in ips 2000

we have ips 2000 system and using nec dterm phone as a operator console. for the usage of operator in emergencies, service engineers created a digit 3 for the purpose of overrride to the important persons as and when the their station is busy. the problem is the same code (3) is being enabled to all the analog stations and they are misusing the same when the other staions are busy. request how to diable this override option to the analog stations. step by step comand programme may please be informed and help us in this regard

So you are using single digit access EROW (Executive Right Of Way). What you need to do is go through all the analogue extensions in command 1202 making a note of what they are set to so, st 1202 de (lowest extn number) de this will display the setting for this extension, you can then step on through the rest using the enter key if you are using MOC mode or if using CAT mode by pressing the Speaker key,

If these (or any that you don't want to be able to do this) are the same as the operators Dterm, one or the other will need to be changed. The easiest will probably be to change the operators setting and can be anything from 00 to 15 but you will then have to go through command 15 and change the setting for the new class to be the same as the old class.

Then for each of those classes in Cmd 1202 that you want to block, st 1505 de Class (00 - 15) de 0 exe

This will deny them the ability to use the feature.
