How to restore from Dec 2003?

Hi,

Can anyone advise please? I need to do a recovery of a folder from Dec 2003, in NW, under the Volumes tab, I can see the tapes that were used during that period with (R) beside them. Am I correct in assuming I don't need to run scanner -i.....

Also the clients FULL savesets go back to Feb 2005. (Client and server have browse and retention policies of a month and a year respectively).
Any help is much appreciated.

This has just been discussed recently. Please have a look at threads 1015524 and 1021442.

you could also try to use the: nsrck -L7 'date which you want to recover' client name
this will restore the index of that perticular client for that perticular date.
after this you can retrieve the files.
