Is the clone volume still in media database? Yes? Then use command 'mminfo' or nwadmin gui to find information about the volume(s).
Then you can do a saveset recover. See the options for the 'recover' command. This will default to restore a complete saveset often containing a file system.
If you want the backup index recovered, you will need to read the index from the clone tape with the 'scanner -iv' command. There are some powerful commands in Networker. Spend some time to get familiar to them !

If you do a save set recover, you also need to specify the cloneid. Get that by typing:

mminfo -q "ssid=savesetid" -r "cloneid"

You can also mark the save set suspect in the media database. You can do this from the GUI (volumes --> highlight the appropriate volume and save set, then mark suspect) or the command line (nsrmm -y -o suspect -S <SSID> <cloneid>

Once that is done, NetWorker will automatically ask for the clone tape.

Good Luck!

When you try to perform a recovery..NetWorker will be looking for the original volume. You need to tell NetWorker that this is not available and then NetWorker will use the next volume it can find which would be the clone volume.

Do this through the GUI or using the commands outlined in the previous post.
