I built a master book which contains mini chapter-level books. When I print the mini books individually, the page numbering restarts accordingly. However when I print from master book, the page numbering continues and did'nt restart. I've set the numbering "as is" - which I assumed will be read from document i.e where every section in the chapters restart page numbering.
I do not want page numbering to continue.
I'm not sure if I had done something wrong.
I'm using Framemaker V10.

Probably the best way to set the pages to renumber in each chapter is:

1. Select all of the chapters in the book file.

2. Right click to display the context menu.

3. Select Numbering.

4. Click the Page tab.

5. In the First Page # field, type 1 and select Numeric (14) in the Format drop-down list.

6. Click Set.

That should do it.
