Log in as the administrator 0
goto option 9
then type in 9 989 CLEAR

the voicemail hangs up and resets itself.

Thanks for your help, but I still have a problem.

The problem is That I can not log in from a phone to do any programming, any time I try Intercom 777 I get a busy signal.

Thanks

You've got the wrong ports in Hunt Group 7. Do you know what ports are associated with your voicemail? What slot is it in?

I have a 5 slots carrier, the ACS R6 seats in the middle and the voicemail is the first slot from left to right.

Please let me know if that's OK

Thanks again!

That means your vm ports could be ext's 18-23, if you have a six port vm. When you go into System Programming on the R6, and do #505 for hunt group 7, which ports are assigned?

I thank you so much for being so patient and helpful.
after assingning port 18-21 (4 port voicemai) to hunt group 7, the system now says "welcome to Avaya Partner messaging, the system is in test mode. to test touch tone recognition pre 1, to test voice recording and playback press 2. How do i get out of test mode and go into programming mode.

Ps: After this question I will not bother you anymore.

Hi ISSGUY,
Reseat your port license card in the messaging system. Turn the power off first. If the unit stays in test mode, you may have a bad card or voicemail.

OK, I have a question. Will PMR1 operate without a license card in it like the VS's (since most if not all of them have 2 ports and the cards upgrade them) or does a PMR1 have no ports onboard and only the cards allow you usable ports?

The PM R1 through 7 will have no ports and will be in the test mode until a 2, 4 or 6 port license card is inserted.
