Hi,

I feel like a bonehead for asking but I have been using DMXs for so long I forgot alot about CLARiiON: How do I register HBAs in Navisphere GUI when they don't automatically register?

I am using FC4700s and CX700s only.

Thanks,
Katama

Give a look at the Connectivit Status section. There you can manually register the HBA.

Try restarting the Navisphere agent on the server with the HBAs - or rebooting it.

Ensure the host has discovered the lunz devices and do navicli register

Install Navisphere Agent and reboot the system....it's the easiest way....

or manually, assign the wwns of the hbas to the name and ip of the host that you have to put manually. Take care of the failover mode you use (it depends of the hbas you have, powerpath, etc...)

The first way is the best.

Redards,
