Are you talking about someone internally dialing extensions 302 and 304 or are you talking about someone hitting an auto attendant and dialing the extension that way?
If it is just dialing internally you can create a shortcode:
Shortcode: 302
Feature: Dial
Telephone number: 9+DID (assuming you use 9 to dial out)
GroupID: ARS table you use for outbound calls
Have to make sure that inhibit offswitch forward/transfer is disabled.
If you are talking about through an auto attendant you could do a logic test before transferring, if they dial 302, then it transfers offsite. I am guessing you are talking about the first so not going into this part as much.
The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
What is the destination for the DID? You could make the shortcode go to the destination (ext, group, AA whatever) so it is not dialing out and back in.
The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
Sorry I shouldn't of suggested you call the DID when sending it to the DID's destination makes far more sense. There is no reason to use extra resources, 1 channel to call out and 1 channel to call back in, when you can simply route it directly through the system.
