I had a pc running win2k Sp1. just recently it crashed. I had to replace the motherboad the chips, memory and I bought a larger hard-drive. the pc works just fine. I now need to get the information from the old hard-drive to the new one. it have some things that cannot be replaced. When I try to install it as a slave, the drive can't be read. it doesn't give me the whole partition just the unallocated space that wasn't formated with NTFS. since the old motherboard is trashed how do I recover the information from my old drive?

I asked everyone and no-one knows how to solve this.

check is whether master drive you're using is NTFS formatted or not, because if the master drive is in FAT32 then you might not be able to use the NTFS formatted slave.
