How to receive email confirmation of successfull backups

Using NetBackup 6.0, I would like to receive email confirmation of all my backups, successfull or not.

in the "host properties", under master or clients properties, there is an option to enter the administrator email adress. I never received anything.

anyone has an idea ?

is there someplace to setup a SMTP server or mail server address of some type?

I thought about that but, I did not find such option.

I believe that you need to install SMTP or use BLAT

Have you tried putting the entry in the bp.conf file on the master server such as the following:
USEMAIL = mail_address

This may be the same option you were referring to in the host properties. If you modify this file on the master server be sure to do so as root user.
