Hi,

I would like to find out how I can reboot the workstation (Dell GX270) remotely using pxe card.

I enabled the ‘network boot with pxe’ and ‘fast detect’ on the workstation in BIOS.

What command or utility can I use to do so?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

PXE has nothing to do with Remote Reboot. Are you running Windows? If so, you can use the shutdown.exe command that comes with Windows Resource Kit.

I suspected that I would not be able to reboot the workstation with PXE card.... unfortunately...

I guess i need to setup wake-on-lan…

Because if the workstation is unresponsive or blue screened I will not be able to use shutdown.exe

What is the procedure for the wake-on-lane?
Is there any vendor specific software
Sorry if I am asking too much...

I don't think wake-on-lan will get you that reboot you want. How many "workstations" are we talking about? There are different hardware devices out there that might get the reboot you need.
