How to push VBS Script?

Hi All,

I am fairly new to SMS and I have a VBS script file that I need to push out. Can someone please help with the steps in creating a package for a VBS script.

just put the download.vbs file in the sms package/program command lnie and run it from the machines cache.

Would you not be advisable to push this out with Group Policy Software Dist?

Hi Neil,

I hope all is well with you! Actually I push out VBS' all the time for a couple clients (thats how they seem to package a lot of things over in the eastern european countries I deal with) The key is having them run the program from the SMS local cache as system account admin (so AV leaves it alone). If they try to run it from the DP, and it has network paths, it seems like it fails.

Well, as Tim suggested, just packaging up the VBS as you would any other software dist with a commandline to call it should work, and set it to run from the local cache.
