To whom it may concern,

I have a report that user enter a parameter as follow:

Available Parameter:
1ST Quarter
2ND Quarter
3RD Quarter
4TH Quarter

I want to be able to pull data base on the above parameter with a database fields that have the last modify date: for example:

If user enter 1ST quarter, then I want the report to report any project that have the last modify between
Feb -Apr

1ST quarter will report Feb - Apr
2ND quarter will report May - July
3RD quarter will report Aug - Oct
4TH quarter will report Nov -Jan
Base on the last modify date of the projects.

Thanks in Advance : )

Hi,
Create a selection formula to determine which records to return, using If..Then..logic on the parameter value.

I would provide an example but I need to know if the reports will all be run in the same year as the last_Modify_dt.

It will affect the complexity of the formula.

All report run in the same year as last modify date.

Thanks again.

Hi Turkbear,

Any Updates?

Thanks : )

Hi,
What have you tried..

Something like:

If {?Param} = '1ST' then
Month({ModifyDate}) in 2 to 4
Else
If {?Param} = '2UND' then
Month({ModifyDate}) in 5 to 7

....

I'll leave the rest to you - especially the one that goes to the next year....
