how to pull data from a text file?

SQL 7 database. Table contains the filename of xtg files, but I can't get the text from the files into my query. How do you get information from a text file if you have the location, and the name of the file?

Example: the text files exist on T:\
The table contains the filename 209875.xtg
How do I get the contents of the text file to show up?
