I would like just to publish a share via Citrix.

This share is a folder and not a file. I want users to have access to the content of this folder.

Is there a solution to publish this share?

Thks.

OK,

I just tried several ways that I could think of to accomplish this. Give this a try to see if it fits your needs.

Is the folder located on a Citrix server or on another server?
If it is on another server, publish it as Content as \\Servername\Share$. Users will not connect to Citrix, but be prompted to login to the share during access.

I tried some other ways, but wasn't very successful. I'm sure there are other ways, but I think the above should be a sound solution as it shouldn't use a MF Connection License. (???)

The share is on the Citrix server.

I can open this share directly from the server (using \\server\share)

But publishing this share and using a citrix client, I receive the following message: "The citrix server is unable to process your request to start this published application".

The others published applications work perfectly.

Ok I understand now: I don't have the option "content". I have only "application" and "desktop".

Do you know how to add or activate the option "content"?

Thanks.

Are you publishing it as an application or content?

I got it to work as Content, but did not try with application...

It's ok, I used "published as an application", and published "explorer x:\...

I think you would be better to use iexplore and not explore
dangers of getting a desktop....

Hi,

Or copy Explorer.Exe to PAExplorer.Exe...That way a desktop won't appear!

Cheers,
Carl.

You need to share out the folder then publish it as content. From there it will be accesseble the same way as a published app is.

Thanks it's ok. I published explorerP.exe, a copy of explorer.

Thanks to all.
