Hello there,

Can someone tell me the best way to protect a powerpoint presentation so that it can only be viewed. Sending out a presentation and dont want anyone to rip images from it etc.

Help Appreciated

Powerpoint has built in protection, like other Office products.

You can set a password to modify. I think that's in Tools > Options > Security

But preventing anyone from copying an image out of the presentation would be much tougher, if possible at all.

If you send someone a file containing pictures, anyone who really wants to get one of the pictures out will be able to.

Thanks for the prompt reply, if i save it as a pps would that work as well?

I tend to use something like CUTEPDF or PDF995 to 'print' it to a pdf file.

The question should be [red]Is it worth trying to do?[/red] not [blue] Can it be done?[/blue]
