I have several W2K clients that connect to a remote office over a Cisco VPN, they want to print to a local networked printer on my end and they get printer not available.
I know they are no longer connected to my network but I was just checking to see if anybody knows a way around this I haven’t thought of yet..

It's always a PEBKAC problem.

:) this is what i am trying to ask in my questions. when we create VPN connection we can not access our own network untill we disconnect becase our Ethernet adopter is just leased for PPTP or L2TP protocols thats why it happens but there is a solution which i am trying to ask

You need to configure split tunneling on the headend device, once split tunneling is configured only the needed traffic will be encrypted (interesting traffic) and the rest will be clear text. Hence, providing you access to the local networ.

Not only access to your local network;a BIG OPEN DOOR to your network core. Big security NO NO.

To netmanrick:

Not a big problem if you use something like kerio's winroute firewall as internet gateway and vpn server. It uses it's SPI to check all traffic including vpn tunnels and you can create rules to lock out any host or user from accessing the other network through the tunnel :)
