Hello to all, I am new to SCO and I have read the man pages for df and ls commands but not find a way to print disk info and files into human readable format.

Can you help me.

thanks in advance.

Ricardo

Human readable is a GNU extension to those commands so you won't find it on non-GNU operating systems unless someone has specifically installed it.

You could of course write your own wrapper script(s) to do the conversion if it is important to you.

Ok, well then how I can interpret this:

# df -t
/ (/dev/root ): 115148738 blocks 17522463 i-nodes
total: 141177414 blocks 17647176 i-nodes
/stand (/dev/boot ): 39014 blocks 7662 i-nodes
total: 61440 blocks 7680 i-nodes

If I want to converto to KB or MB?

In files I suppose the size are in Bytes.

Your help is munch appreciated.

better report as "df -kv" if that works in your system.

"man df" will give you the details.

Thanks a lot, df -kv show me the info I need, not human readable like in Linux, but ....

Thanks.
