How to prevent pirating of art work 2

Hey folks,

I'm just finishing up a web site for a folk artist.

Does anyone know a script that would prevent the printing, creating wallpaper--right click on Windows, saving, etc. of her art work, other than putting copyright on her site--big deal on the Net?

Plenty of disable right-click scripts here -

However, only the most dim-witted of netusers doesn't realise that to see the picture, it must already be on thier computer. So, we peek into Temporary Internet Files... and there it is.

Watermarking, disable scripts and all the rest have never managed to come up with a fool-proof way to do this. The only half-successful solution has been to amke the images in a protected Flash Movie, but then the quality can suffer... Dean Owen

You're batting a hundred. I realized that my question was redundant for Net savvy users.

Thanks for the hotscripts site. I've bookmarked it.

I'll just advise the client that she walks on a delicate tightrope on the Internet and that she has to balance what she wants people to see/use versus her right(s) as an artist.

One thing about any art on screen, you only have to hit the 'print screen' key and you have anything you want, even from flash. If you have the original art/work file then you have enough to stand up in a court of law if you ever wanted to take it that far. Also, someone who just takes's the .jpg or .gif only has what you could call a print, not the original.
