How to prevent call reroute 1st Alt. override an extension activated CFA?

Hi All,

Version: MCD 7.0 SP1/PR2 (13.0.1.58) on MiCollab v6 with voice
Handset: 5330e

Scenario
- Have extension configured with call reroute 1st Alt to send all call types on BNA condition to NuPoint voicemail
- Extension class of service CFNA timer is set to 10 seconds and have enabled "Disable Call Reroute Chaining On Diversion"
- User activates standard call forward always feature on handset to forward all calls to a mobile / cell phone
- Call to extension is diverted to external number as expected, then the call reroute 1st alt feature overrides call
and send caller to voicemail, dropping call to external device.

ideally:
- User does not want to extend CFNA timer out
- User does not want to manage all forward conditions on handset rather than disabling call reroute facility

Understanding that, why can't the routing be turned off and the Call forward BNA options be utilized instead. The BNA settings are set and forget, you only have to do then once.

My preference would be not to configure CFBNA settings that the users can tamper with, but if that is the only solution
available... "c'est la vie"

I thought enabling the class of service option, "Disable Call Reroute Chaining On Diversion" would prevent this from happening, but it seems not.
