Hi,

I have this website currently with one domain name. Now, there's another domian available that I like to purchase and have it also point to the same website. Is it as simple as giving the new domain the same primary/secondary IP address as the other one or is there something else that needs to be done?

Your expertise is appreciated,
Dan

"Is it as simple as giving the new domain the same primary/secondary IP address as the other one"

absolutely.

things get (a bit) more complicated if you want the site to make a distinction between the 2 domain names (in which case you need to use virtual server on the machine hosting the site) - if you're just looking for 2 domain names to point to exactly the same site, it really is that simple! (nice when it's easy [smile])

Great, it is nice to have an easy solution for once.

Thanks a bunch!

Hmm, I thought I did. My mistake, because you definitely deserve one. I clicked the star feature, so it should update.

thanks again,
