i have 2 tables 1 Master where i place title in one of the column and then in second table the title column links to the Master table.

in my Master table if i put: 10" Of Snow
and put same in linking table cloumn: 10" Of Snow
its donesnt link.
i am pulling this on a web page with tabs. the tab text would be the title of Master table and when its clicked it should display the data from the 2ed table.
but it doesnt. anyone know how can i use the " symbol in MySql database?

You don't even need to escape them. Standard string quotes in SQL are single quotes. That means that even MySQL will parse double quotes as identifiers if you put in in standard-abiding mode. To be independent of the server mode, always use single quotes for strings and backtics for identifiers. Or far better: use identifier names that don't need any quotation.

Anyway, if the strings are the same, the links should work. So my guess is that the site code may be ill-behaving.
