What is the best way to operate a mailing list from Outlook?

I receive email requests for offers from our website.
I then want to send out an offers newsletter.

I know this is basic to most of you but I want to find the most efficient way of handling this.

So far I have been adding the names to a contacts subfolder and as far as I can see all I need to do is click on the new email BCC field and add the email adresses from the contacts subfolder to the BCC field. Is this suffient?

I also see that there are distribution lists and groups but are they relevant to me?
Or is there a completely differnt method I should use?

You can add all the adresses to a group in a personal distribution list ( say the group's name is " group") and when you send your newsletter, just send it to " group".
All the recipients will then receive the mail.

Via the address book you can manage " group" quite easily
