How to obtain Bios data using Windows OS resources

Hi all
I need to capture the Bios Id or any unique Bios data.
Somebody knows if Windows OS could obtains this information with some Apis or with any other OS standard tools?

You can see the BIOS version using system information...but thats only if you have an win 98 or 2k, maybe nt, not sure...

Thank you Zorlod but I'm looking for something powerfull like low level functions or some queryable tools if they exist... but I don't think bynow.
Let me know if you'll discover something new about my problem.
