I have read through past threads and all over my program, but for the life of me, I cannot figure this out!

I need to number my pages. I'm working on a literary magazine for my high school, and this is the second year I've done the layout. Last year I individually, painstakingly, numbered the pages.
Someone told me PageMaker could do that for me.
How? I'm using a Mac, Pagemaker 6.5. Thanks!

Kristina

Start with your master page(s) for the main document. Placed the text tool at the position you want your page number to appear. Then hit command>option>p. What you see is LM and RM for Left Marker and Right Marker. Then, when you click on your document pages, the numbers are there. To change the number styles, go to file>document setup>numbers. If you need a prefix before the page number, insert it on the master page before the LM and RM. You can edit at any point. Hope that helps!

Oh, I guess that was pretty easy. I didn't know what Master Pages were though. I've been using this crazy program for two and a half years now (mostly just for newspaper layouts though) and someone finally tells me. Thanks for the help!
