Hi There- Anyone know an easy way to move macros from one workbook to another without first creating a new macro name and then copying and pasting each one in?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Why would you create a new name?

What about a PERSONAL.xls workbook for ALL commonly accessed macros?

Copy just one macro or the entire module?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Open two workbooks and drag modules/userforms between vba projects (project explorer window). For workbook/sheet modules only copy&paste method works.

Sorry... I wrote the macros for another person so the personal workbook won't work. Ok.. I'll copy and paste- thanks.

I save shared macros in a (read only) workbook in the shared folder. My Personal.xls simply opens this file.

If you right-click on a module you can export the module to a BAS file. You can then import this BAS file into any workbook you want.
