I have S8730s running CM5.2 and many LSPs. I have traps being sent to me via email when there are alarms. In the past an outage of a PRI on a TN464 board would trigger an off board alarm and I could respond to it. Recently a PRI went out of service from a G700/MM710 T-1/E-1 board and I didn't get a trap because it didn't trigger an alarm.

Is anyone else able to proactively monitoring PRIs? Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can be alerted to a PRI outage from a MM710 board? I don't have an AIM server.

I believe you have to have Avaya change something to turn on alarming for the PRI's. If I remember, when the PRI goes out of service it alarms just as a Warning and not a Major alarm, thats the part that Avaya would have to change.

'change option(s)' is an init login feature only. i have to leave ASA running with a schedule to look for out of service trunks on an mm710 because i don't want to pay Avaya for anything anymore since their implementation of their vampire fee last year if you have maintenance with a BP.

Here is what it would look like:
By default, all values are set at "w" so Avaya does not get
in your switch to fix provider issues or get alarms on them.

Code:
set options Page 1 of 22
