As per the title, how to modify the default stanza in /etc/security/user? I can use chuser to change parms for defined users but on most of our systems we simply use the default values. It appears that chuser won't acept 'default' as a valid userid (fair enough!). Any ideas how I can do this?
(Various levels of AIX from 4.2 to 5.2)
As we are running a SP with 40+ nodes it would be preferable
to use a distributed command rather than editing every node individually.
Thanks, Bernie.

Bernie,

Example:

chsec -f /etc/security/user -s default -a maxage=4

Cheers
