How to Modify Chart Legend Data Label

Is it possible to modify the data labels for the legend in a chart? I've got a chart that is based on 5 different "Sum of @" summaries.

The legend shows up as
"Sum of @Same Day"
"Sum of @Dur 1-2 Days"
"Sum of @Dur 3-5 Days"
"Sum of @Dur 5-10 Days"
etc.

The user only needs to see
"Same Day"
"1-2 Days"
"3-5 Days"
"5-10 Days"
etc.

Can't modify the items themselves because they are summaries and, as far as I know, you can't rename a summary. Anyone know of a way to modify these labels?

The only way I found was to put a text box over what was in there already. You may need to double-click on the chart to be able to position the graph carefully to where the text label covers the odl key's text.
