How to merge/create/relocate extentions?

We hgave a phone that was extenion "1"
We now need it to be at entension "2"
How to we change it on the phone?

it is a NT8B27 phone

1 and 2 are not ext 3's, there are 'Path's" which are programmed in CCR (Custom Call Routing) of your voice mail system.

You need to change Path 1 and 2 under F983

No sorry those aren't actually the extensions.

The original extension for that phone was 268. We are trying to make it 258. It is not allowing this and has kept the 268 extension even though it is already in use.
