Hello,

I would like to know how can I freeze bad domain names in the queue of exchange 2000 system manager. The probelm I am facing is that I have approx. 3,000 bad domain names being stuck in the queue and I could only freeze the one by one. This is really boring and time consuming process. I was wondering if there is another way I can do this job. Is there a utility that I can use. Yesterday it took me 3 hrs to freeze bad domain names. Too bad I can't do CTRL +A. It doesn't work in system manager. We do have spam filter both at the firewall and exchange level, but we get a ton of spam anyway. This really slows down our mail server. I know if I keep on freezing domains like that, it mail server with function properly. I just like to know if there is a utility of some sort or a tool from Microsoft that I can use to ease my life a bit.

I hope exchange admins would uderstand my problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I see what you saying. I already checked on this website and my domain name is not listed. I also checked with dnstuff.com website and did a spam db lookup as well. My domain name is not listed there either. It is just mind bogling. Right now the queue is 5,545 emails. Though I have frozen them all, but it seems to me new junk domain names keep on coming with different names. I also block them at the firewall, but that is not doing any good since the blocked domain name doesn't show up, but some other/new domain shows up and I had block that domain. Also I wanted to ask you should I go ahead and delete the domain names stuck in queue with NO NDR option? When the queue was at 3000 emails, I made a fetal mistake of restarting the machine and that unfroze all the 3000 domain names and I had re-freeze them again:( I wonder how would they remain in the queue.

Thanks for your help.
