I have a site in Arizona (main site is in Cali). What is the most efficient way to manage time zone opening/ closing procedure and daylight saving changes?

The Arizona will be on a seperate network region.

if you look on the "change locations" form, you can specify what daylight savings rule is used per location. Assign the media gateway/IP network region to this location, and you will be able to create a custome DST rule (via "change daylight"), use this rule in the Arizona location.

For Arizona you want to change the location to use rule 0. They don't do DST.

i think your best bet is to set your Linux timezone to Arizona. Then create a rule for Cali in CM with the correct offset and dates for DST.

I'm having same issues on this... I have a G450 in Australia, sitting on a different network region. This is a small call center setup on that site. So a DID number was assigned to customer for them to call for support, the main system is in singapore and we have a 2 hour difference. For some reason the VDN/vector has its own office hour set and the VDN has a Time-Zone Offset of +2 hours but holiday table only follows the actual PABX time which is in singapore that is ahead of 2 hours.

How can i address this issue to follow australia time? Location parameter is configuration properly including NR. Not so sure what to look into next.

to uzumaki, the easiest way would be to create a separate holiday table for australia and a separate service hours table set the hours for australia.
If you set the hours in table 2 +/-2 for australia that should work.

Example: Vector for Australia
01 wait-time 1 secs hearing silence

02 goto step 3 if holiday in table 10 (Australia table)
03 goto step 10 if service-hours not-in table 10 (Australia)
(service hours table 10: define what times its open when holiday in Australia)

04 goto step 9 if service-hours not-in table 11
(Table 11 Normal service hours for Australia)

05 queue-to skill 1st pri m
06 wait-time 20 secs hearing ringback
07 announcement 5501
08 goto step 6 if unconditionally

09 disconnect after announcement 5100 "Our office hours are:"
10 disconnect after announcement 5101 "We are closed for holiday.."

Hi Joul,

How to use this table? Will i be putting the Office ours of my office in australia or the non-office hours? Is this the same with the vectoring goto step __ if time-of-day is __ to __?

Sorry man im not yet good on this.

Can you enlighten me how to use this service hour table and how to use the time of day config in the vectoring level? Im confused, just give me a simple logic.
