how to make scrollbars

hi!

i have a huge picture and i want it to display in a small area. how can i make it scrollable?

With MX, use a scrollpane! Regards,

no i have Macromedia Flash 5. i think there is no scrollpane item. is there another way to make scrollbars?

You can mask a movie clip and scroll the movie clip behind the mask. Regards,

oh my gosh! isn't there a solution for peaple like me who do not know anything about actionscript? there must be an easy way to use some kind of damn scrollbars :-(

This is as easy as it gets!
Wait till you start fooling around with the scrollpane (often called scrollpain!) component in MX. Regards,
