How to make Nortel BSR222 to keep connection always alive?

I have NORTEL BSR222 router which is used for my VPN on few remote locations.

My question is - why router closes connection when there is an idle - and after that it reconnects connection?

Through one night router makes about 50 connections and more...

How to make him to stay online all the time?

What option to turn on or off?

I don't have that router but look for a keep alive or nailed up option.

Yes, that was first what I thought about but I couldn't find opinion to keep my connection alive.

That's why I was looking for forums about Nortel routers.

I figured out what was turned off.

NORTEL BSR222 has opinion NAILED UP CONNECTION in WAN settings which must to be turned on.

That fixed my problem!
