I'm trying to send a MS Project 2007 file to a client but it keeps getting rejected because the recipient detects a VBA macro. However, no macros appear under Tools | Macro | Macros. What & how do I remove from the Project file whatever is causing the rejection?

Here's the rejection message:
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.

How about renaming the file extension from .mpp to .dat and sending that file.

Or put the file into a zip file and changing the extension on that file to .dat

In either case, when the client gets the file, change the extension back to the correct one.

If that doesn't work, try deleting all tasks and all resources and then post that file here and we can take a look at it.

It may also not be an issue of macros that you have added. There are com add-ins available in Project that may be being read.

Zip the file and send and see if that gets around it.
