How to make letters like this (see image)

Hi i want to make my letter really think, like in the image, i can't figure it out.
any help is appreciated.

if uyou are wanting to replicate the letter in the image, the best would be to trace it off using Illustrator. looks like you could do a X pint stroke with rounded edges and endpoints. then offset the path X amount to get the red outline.

no that's not what i mean, i don't want to create that letter/font ....

i just want to know how you make the thick extrusion (wrong word maybe),
in the back (the dark brown color area) with the shap of the text.

And your version of Illy would be...?

Offset the path X amount wher x is in inches or pixels or points. That will thicken your lines. Essentialy it creates another path larger than the previous one. But Im still not exactly sure what you mean.
