How to make Attached Documents run locally?

I have two different applications that run on the Citrix servers that will have attached documents. Formats include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Autocad, JPEG, GIF, BMP.
I thought about using something like quickview + that would allow the users to view the documents, but didn't allow for editing them. This was a fine solution for one app but not the other. They want to attach a document and make it a work in progress, where as the ticket is opened by different people, then they edit the doc and save it.
I don't want to install the applications on the citrix servers and then have to keep up with licensing of those apps. What I would like to do is to be able to launch the apps that they already have loaded on there local machine. I have set this up to work but it seems to upload the entire app to the server and then runs it from there.
Is there anyway to tell the documents to launch in the local environment versus the server environment?

There is in FR2, but not in earlier versions of MetaFrame. The "solution" is to get people to save the attachment to disk, if they must have the applications installed locally.

With FR2, you can choose whether the published app is associated with file types or not, which effectively gives this option. CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

When will FR2 be released? Or is it already?

Sorry I just went out the the Citrix site. I am downloading the FR now.
Thanks for all your help.

I loaded FR2 and yes it does do content redirection, but what this does if the local user clicks on a file locally then it will launch the citrix application on the server.
What I want is if they click on a file located on the server or a share on the network from within a Citrix application that it will kick off a local application.
