How to made layers move with table

Hi

I am creating a web site with a table in the middle of the page. When I inserted a layer in one of the cell and resize the browser while viewing it, the layer stays still but the table content shifted in order to maintain itself in the middle of the browser. Does anyone know how to make the layer shift with the table no matter how I resize the browser.

make the layer positioning relitive (%) instead of fixed

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
