I dont know if this is the right forum for this question but i hope someone will know :)

As seen the last year there are many sites that seem to load on its own sepearate window without using the standard I.E explorer window. I dont know if this is color effects or special programming functions put an example can be found here
On this site for I.E only:

go for the flash version...

As you can see the title bar is white and the standard buttons (drop, close, minimse) are all gone...

Also try to drag this window from its Title bar...

Can anyone explain a method for doing this ?????

It's done by opening a fullscreen popup (or if you prefer a popup window, without the unwanted window attributes...), but to my knowledge, only possible with IE, and not NS.
Check your link with NS, you'll see that Netscape insists on keeping the borders, and the standard top right close & sizing boxes.

That still won't work with NS!
As a matter of fact, you can't even open up that page in NS!
Or at least I can't!

Thanks people or your informative fedbacks.

Yeah this is what i was after:)

Although Idnewbie i tried the link i gave you on Netscape 4.7 and worked but without any difference from the well known popups we all know.

Although i havent got Netscape at home where i revised the answers you gave me and i dont know yet if the link HUSS gave me works on Netscape 4.7. I tried also in I.E 5.5 and works fine. Thanks to HUSS!!!

Ill check netscape 4.7 tomorrow at work.

But i want to say a big big thanks To both of you guyz for your quick response and your help.

Regards

Doesn't work with NS 4.76! Just tried it!
Maybe with NS6.x but doubt it!

I embeded the button on an HTML page instead of flash.
Tried this moprning on Netscape 4.7 and popups but normal popup. With borders. Nothing to do with the I.E borderless one.
But at least popups with no errors!!!!!
I simply used :
<a href=javascript:eek:penIT('page.html',450,250,null,null,'mywinname01')><IMG SRC=&quot;file:///images/butgo.gif&quot; border=0 width=&quot;86&quot; height=&quot;29&quot;></a>
on my HTML page.

Hmmm, works on I.E but not Netscape. Sounds familiar;)

Thanks again for your help people.

Regards

I ALSO WANTED TO GIVE RED STAR TO HUSS BUT FORGIVE ME IM NEW HERE AND I DONT KNOW IF IS MY LACK OF USAGE OR THE SYSTEM IT SELF BUT I WAS UNABLE TO DO SO.

RED STAR TO BOTH OF YOU GUYZZZ.

REALLY HELPFULL.

REGARDS

I'm sorry this won't work on NS. I am glad you guys brought that to my attention, thanx. I am going to play around with it too. I am new here too. Is a RED star bad? Is it like a RED FLAG? I had no idea it would not work on NS or any other browser besides IE. Sorry.

yes red stars are bad..stay away from them..if you get one your computer will explode..
