Could somebody help me with the procedure to load RTU licenses in a G3si V11? should I use a BP or is it a procedure that can be done without a BP? Thanks in advance!
Avaya Direct or a Business Partner are also necesary with CM 5.2? It was my understanding that with new releases it's a straight forward procedure due to the web access and the "license file" option to load the file. is that correct? thanks again!
4merAvaya. Thanks for replying. What is the procedure if I get the license file from the BP? in CM5 I should be able to load the file without the BP intervention, right? Thanks again!
Hello again. I searched LIT and I found a web site to download it but the website doesnt look a website I can trust to download a software. Is this a free Avaya application or do I need to pay for it? I know I can use the web access to load licenses in newer releases such as CM 5.2 but G3 V11 do not have web access. Any other alternative? Thanks!
LIT is free, BP's can download it from rfa.avaya.com. You have to use LIT for Definity's, there is no maintenance web page for these older systems or a Linux shell that you can access.
Over simplified, but install LIT on a PC, connect to the Definity via RS 232, and then send the file.
