What is the command/s I need to issue to make me list all applications on my system, not necessary running once

copperslim, keep in mind the lslpp command will only show you applications that have been installed with the installp command. If there have been other applications installed with their own installation program (Oracle, for example, or shareware software), those applications will not be listed with lslpp.

I have decided to check /etc/inittab.
Thanx for your help

/etc/inittab isn't going to tell you all the software you have installed on your system. It's just going to tell you what is started when the system boots.
