How to link Scheduling Calendar and phpBB

Hi there,

I'm not a coder type and like to just collect bits and pieces and put them together.

I'm running a computer business and was wondering if there is a simple integrated forum and scheduling solution.

Basically I want to create a web accessible scheduler/calendar that links to a forum so that when someone at my company enters an appointment with a customer it also creates a forum thread. The idea is that the technician who visits the customer can then add notes and a report of their service call. Maybe there is some deluxe scheduling software out there with these integrated features? I just feel really comfortable with phpBB and MySQL so I figured some sort of extension to phpBB might be the way to go.

Not a forum, but create a separate "ticket" for each service call. This is what most IT departments use to track service calls, customer issues, etc....
