Hi guys.

We have a server1 on domain1 is a DMZ, and server2 on domain2 is inside the firewall.

Domain1 trusts domain2 but domain2 does not trust domain1.

Our firewall hosting by outside vendor and they told me they already opened up the server2 port 1433

How to know the port is realy open?

Any input appreciated.....

Theresa

Hi,
Just a clarification:
1- You have to do your scan from server 2 (the DMZ)
2- If the port 1433 is a TCP port superscan can do the job, but if it is a UDP port you can't do this with superscan...
If it's a UDP port let me know!

hum if it's a TCP port you can simply issue the following command : telnet [server@ip] 1433
If you connect that's ok ...
