How can I kill a batch job? I don't mean a background job, but a job run by "qsub".

Thank you

What is qsub ?
Anyway, if you can retrieve the job by ps then read my faq faq80-4602 to get all the child process in order to kill them.

Hope This Help
PH.

No, it's not something you can retrieve by 'ps'.
Aigles got it ! I could cancel the job that way.
Please, can you tell me what's the meaning of 'Eqw', as a state of the batch job (For example 'r' stands for 'running'), when you call qstat ?
