want to keep the call in Avaya queue( as no one is in Skill) and hearing music or Ring back from avaya system and tranferes call external number.
Note: ring back should be from Avaya only and connect to external number once they answered.
The only way that I know of that you might be able to do this. Is if the external number was an EC500 number, and the extension was logged into a agent with a skill.
Otherwise with out the use of a CTI application. Once you route the number out,the cal will be transferred to that number. the most you can do is get it back if no one answer.
You might be able to talk to your carrier and see what they may be able to do for you.
The phone system has no control of phones that it is not connected to.
